Gazet Van Antwerpen: Polish ex-homeless guide compatriots back home

Alderman Homans invests 170.000 euro in a mobile team. Antwerp launches in mid-February a social project of organization Barka which guides Polish homeless to Poland to help them rebuild their life there. The project has already proven to be a success in other European cities, but Polish homeless people in Antwerp are skeptical.

Barka NL- Study visit of Emile Loua- a priest from Guinea in Africa

On the 27th of November Barka NL in Utrecht  hosted an African priest- Emile, who spent a day with Barka team in Utrecht, visited the Social Economy Centre and in the evening Emile had a meeting with Barka leaders. Barka helps people to find their way home again

Arnhem – Barka Foundation Netherlands is active again since this month in Arnhem. The foundation helps homeless people from Central and Eastern Europe to return to their own countries. According to the municipality the approach of Barka is successful. In one year alone 28 people were helped to return home.
