European Citizens Award for Barka Foundation in Poland
On the 25th of February 2015 at a festive gala at the European Parliament, Tomasz Sadowski and Ewa Sadowska received European Citizens Award on behalf of the Barka Foundation. The award was presented by Maired Mcguinnes, vice president of the European Parliament.
World recognition on social innovations to the founder of Barka Foundation
On the 18th of February 2015 in Mumbai during the World CSR Congress and the World Day of Corporate Social Responsibility, Tomasz Sadowski chairman of Barka Foundation for Mutual help was presented with Leadership Award on Social Innovation. The prize is a statuette and a diploma.
The auction of Jack White’s piano

Barka Foundation receives European Citizen’s Prize – Festive Gala in Poznan and Brussels
On the 8th of February at the Poznan’s theatre ‘Teatr Nowy’ a festive gala was organised to celebrate the presentation of Barka Foundation with the European Citizen’s Prize. The organizer of the gala was Ms. Agnieszka Kozlowska-Rajewicz, MEP who nominated Barka Foundation for the award.
New leader– Jerzy Tymczak
Since the beginning of January BARKA Ireland is hosting a new leader– Jerzy Tymczak. Jerzy met BARKA UK 8 years ago, being homeless migrant living on a streets of London for over one and a half year.

Meeting of Polish Diaspora in Ireland
On the 6th December in Embassy of the Republic of Poland on Ailesbury Road the place had a meeting of Polish Diaspora in Ireland. Members of Barka IE were also invited. We had a chance to meet there many interesting people representing Polish businesses, organisations, administration and religious communities.
